Simulation Training Day: “Functioning of EU institutions: Theory and practice” 27 June 2024

A great opportunity for Albanian students to join a unique experience about learning and practising decision-making in the EU

The Institute of European Studies (University of Tirana) in collaboration with the College of Europe and supported by the EU Delegation in Albania, is pleased to organize this certified simulation training day for Albanian students.

About the event

The purpose of this simulation training is to provide practical knowledge regarding the EU institutional framework and its functioning. This full day event (09:00 – 16:00) is composed by two parts: In the first part, there will be an exchange with the EU Ambassador to Albania and an introduction lecture to EU institutions. In the second part of the day there will be a structured simulation game and exercise through role-playing to understand in practice decision-making dynamics. Participants will receive the full agenda once selected.

Distinguished lecturers and trainers from the College of Europe will be implementing the training sessions.

At the end of the activity, participants will receive the training certificate.

There is no participation fee for students.

Application criteria

– Students registered at a university (bachelor or master degree)

– Strong interest in the European Union

– Motivation of developing competences and skills in the relevant field

– Good level of knowledge of the English language
